Podere Novo was built with local stones and refurbished in 1998/99. It was part of a country house with several buildings used as housing for tenants. This custom in Tuscany had existed for several years and was due to the agricultural exploitation and reclamation of the land of the Upper Maremma. At the time there was a stable for the farm animals and it used to be the housing for two families. Currently the farm Podere Novo is used as holiday location and is divided into many comfortable apartments. There is an outdoor swimming pool and luxury bathrooms equipped with all comfort. Part of the vacation home is also the owners accommodation.
Located on the hill overlooking the town of Bibbona, an ancient Etruscan site, Podere Novo is at the center of a private land of ten thousand square meters and enjoys a magnificent panoramic view of the sea. A unique panorama with the possibility of ranging from the nearby Elba Island to the renowned Macchia della Magona, a wooded area equipped for cycling and mountain biking that hosts a wildlife protection area characterized by thick Mediterranean vegetation.
